As in my last post I mentioned that I was working on going on a Study abroad trip this summer. I am actually going, I will be staying in Nottingham, Britain through the month of July. With a weekend spent in Paris, France and Edinburgh, Scotland.
I am super excited to be going to some of the places I have always wanted to go since I was little. I have been in love with Britain and Europe for as long as I can remember.
The rest of this upcoming month of June will be scrambling to get everything together in order to be ready to go.
For one of the classes that I am taking, Digital Storytelling, I am going to be required to have a daily blog that I am going to have to update with pictures and stories about my time sight seeing and learning with photo's and stories.
So, I am overwhelmed but excited!
If not doomed already! This is my life, it's crazy but totally and 100% completely me. But every once in a while you just need a place to vent.

Talk about behind on the times.
Last post wasn't since 2010, that's a lot to catch up on....
Short version for right now.
I'm going to school, I'm working on going to study Abroad in England this summer... keeping my fingers crossed.
Further updates of what my life has been like once I figure out where to start and what was important enough to update about.

Things..could be worse.
A trip to utah, a trip to California, getting ready for a month long excursion to Chicago, family in town and traffic school coming up. Don't things sound wonderful?
The house is.... semi clean and I've got a headache.
*Deep Breath*
See, things could be worse.
Actually things are going pretty well. The trip to Utah was for a sisters wedding which was wonderful. She looked beautiful and it was nice to see family who I haven't seen in a while. It was also really nice to see the mountains and the cooler air and play with my niece and my nephew.
We came home for three days and then my parents and I went off to Santa Barbara, California for the weekend and the Fourth of July. It was nice seeing the beach and the mountains in such a close time period. The best far was the reason we went to California. Which was to help clean out my grandmothers kitchen and get rid of stuff that she no longer needs. She was really grateful for all the help.
But one of the best things of going wasn't the service, or the visits to the beach, but the time I got to spend with my grandparents. They are getting on in age and their memories aren't as good as they used to be. It was hard to see, but what made it so special was hearing my grandmother and grandfather talking about things they did remember. About growing up in the depression. Stories I had never heard before. And it was really special to hear about their childhood and growing up for them. It's made me feel closer to them then I have ever felt. It was really really special.
I love spending time alone with my dad. And I got to go to the art show at the Santa Barbara wharf. We saw some really cool things and I got to spend time with my dad which is always special.
After coming home, my sister and brother in law were in town to drop off their kids while they left out of town. We had them for the weekend, four kids exhausting. Not that I don't love my niece and nephews. We took them to go see "Toy Story 3" which was funny. But by far the best part was the Spanish Buzz.
Now my parents are out of town, I'm home alone, trying to slowly get the house clean. My oldest nephew spent the night last night where we watched movies, and then went to go see "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" which was awesome. Who ever came up with horrified plugs was a genius, a messed up one, but a genius.
Next Saturday I have driving school for running a red light, my first time. Feel like a total idiot. I have shopping to do before I leave, a house to finish cleaning up as much as I can before my parents come home on Sunday. Mostly because I can only live in a messy house for so long.
Some time at the end of the month I'm going to Chicago. Which I am thrilled about. I need to make a list and time for things to go do and see. Although my main reason is going to help my brother and sister in law with their new baby. So excited to see her.
What I'm going to do when I get back?
Look for work most likely. I'm not worried.
*Deep Breath*
Here we go.

What Goes Up, Tends to Come Down... Hard!
Depression sucks.
I'm pretty sure by now that I have some mild form of it. Maybe I'm being a little melodramatic about it but some times it helps. Being melodramatic about it or not though, I'm still pretty sure I have it in some form.
I have a lot of low days. Yo-yo effect.
But when things are going so well, something tends to crash it down harder then it needs to be sometimes. Lately, things had been going well. But karma backlash sucks.
I'm quiting my job in two weeks, and that's the best thing going for me lately. And I'm not the only one quiting there either. We've had like four other people quite in the last month. Little to say my current boss is not happy. Their loss though that they are not managing their store better. Though I do admit that I'll miss a lot of my co-workers. They're good people.
Another side note is that I'll be going to Chicago for about a month and I'm looking forward to that. If only to get a change of scenery and get out of the Arizona heat. (And yes I am aware that Chicago is bound to be just as hot and humid to boot.) I'm still excited. So now I just need to find something to do with my time during the month of July. Hmm.
Anywho, sad notes.
The most painful one is that my best friend is moving to Virginia for at least a year. Three hour time difference, and considering she's the only person I actually go out to hang out with. You can start to see my reason for the depression spiral.
I don't talk to most of my other friends anymore, and I don't talk to them nearly as much as I talk to her.
And I don't make friends easily. I have a hard time opening up to people and letting them see me. I still have that problem with the friends I got.
Hells bells, sometimes life just sucks!

Happy Times around the Corner.
"REN - FAIRE"
HUZZAH!
Yep, folks, it's that time of the year again. The Arizona Renaissance Festival is in town and I'm going on Saturday. So I'm spending my day off work to finish getting ready to go. By finishing sewing up a shirt that I am making and listening to Rock n Roll Bag Pipes. Yep, you heard me, Rock n Roll Bag Pipes!
Tartanic Rocks!
I go every year only this year got a little more complicated because I actually work now. So finding time to go was hard. But at least this year I have money to spend and I'll be able to actually get things that I want this year. But with today my only day off this week and having to work late tomorrow, today is all about finishing getting ready to go. Working out how to get there for one, how to get back, what to wear and then I'll be up even later doing last minute things to get ready, like shaving uh huh, yep.
Then Saturday it will be up early to get there when the doors open. (Note to self: Sun block this year.) Got to remember that. Or I just need to get my friend to pound it into my skull this year. Which ever works the best.
On top of that I'm getting over a cold, thankfully that only lasted a couple of days. But I've been chugging down Orange Juice and Vick's Nite Quil and Day Quil, (That stuff is a life saver.) And I will be continuing to take it through out the rest of the week and on Saturday before I go.
Also my sister is here in town with her kids so I've been spending time with them, so between them, work and getting ready for Ren-Fair, I've been really pushing it this week. Hopefully the end result will pull something off spectacular and I can just sit back and have some serious R&R.
There will be more long ranting of the Ren-Fair when I actually go to it. But until then wish me luck.

Rich Blessings on the Up and Up.
2010, has started out as such a good year so far. With so many blessings already here and just around the corner. Especially for me and my family.
Blessing number one:
My brother Isaac and my sister in law Heidi were blessed with a little baby girl. Isabel Winter Robinson. Sweetest thing ever and is so tiny compared to how large her older brother was when he was born.
There were come complications when she was born, but she remains in our prayers and we are glad to have her as a member of our ever growing family.
Blessing number two:
It was announce that my older sister Kathryn is getting married in June in Utah, so we'll be going up there for that. She asked me to be a bridesmaid which I said yes to so this week end I am going out with my other sister Susan to go looking for a dress so that the other bridesmaids can match in color.
Blessing number Three:
On Sunday my sister Kimberly just had her second baby, this time a baby boy named Beckett Scot McOwen. I haven't seen him yet because they live in Utah, but I've seen pictures and he looks super cute. But we are going up there this week-end to drive my mom up there so that she can help out with the new baby and my niece Ella. So we are driving up there and I'll get to see him and my other nephew and nieces. Which I'm really excited for because the last couple of times my parents have gone up there I wasn't able to go because of work, and my friends wedding. It's only for about a day and a half that we'll be there. But I'm still excited to go. And besides after that my sister is driving back down with my mom and her kids so I'll be able to see them :)
Blessing number four:
My other brother and sister in Law, Jacob and Heidi, are having a little girl. She's still on the way, but things are going good and we are all happy for them.
Blessing number five:
I still have a job, (rant about job still in progress). I enjoy my job for the most part. But being on your feet for several hours at a time is exhausting. Not to mention some people are crazy. But I get along with my co-workers for the most part and having a paycheck is really nice. Speaking of which I really need to do my finances.....
Blessing number six:
I've got my lap-top finally. And it is ubber Nifty! It's got a multi-touch screen, 17' inch screen and is just really Shiny. There was a couple of fix it things when I first got it, but now it's working well and I am loving it!
Blessing abound around me right now and I am ever thankful. Life is good.

Extended Absence.
I realize I have been gone for a very long time since I wrote last time in the blog. I don't have really any good reasons for the long absence from writing. But make of them what you will (as most people tend to do anyway.)
Reason #1:
Frankly, I'm lazy and some times I just don't feel like writing. Which has become more and more obvious by my lack of writing for my course which I'm almost done with anyway. Seriously I should just do the last two assignments and then I wouldn't have to worry about them.
Reason #2:
Lack of anything decent to write. My life isn't interesting enough to write many things. I don't have a real social life and my dating life is still non existent. Good enough reason for me? You bet ya!
Reason #3:
I actually work now, I have a job at "Hobby Lobby" craft store. Which actually takes a lot of my time now. (Ranting about the job to come later, but the money is nice.)
Reason #4:
It's been the holidays, which is another reason to take up my time along with work. And I had a wedding for a friend at the same time. Most likely the other reason why I haven't written anything lately.
So there you have it. My reasons for not writing in the blog lately. But now I should have a lot of things to write about considering that I haven't been on forever. I have a lot of things to catch up on. WOOT!
I'll catch you up on some of the things that I've been doing with my time at a later date. Until then have many happy roads in life and such, yeah.

'Be Our Guest'
Date: Aug,21,2009
Event: 'Beauty and the Beast' At Hale Center Theater.
I have been looking forward to this for about a year since I found out Hale was doing it. My parents were kind enough to get me a ticket and so I waited for it to start and tonight I finally got the chance to go.
Now I got the chance to go see it at the Gammage Theater when it came like forever ago. And I only remember bits and pieces of it. And I was up in the balcony so it was kind of hard to see from where I sat.
But in the close audience feeling of the Hale Theater. The experience was so much better.
Now I love Hale performances, they are always enjoyable. But this was enjoyable for several reasons.
One: The acting. Several people really stood out for the show.
'Lumiere'(Thomas Brower): With his dynamic character, he really made the character stand out and was amusing. He was fantastic and a joy to watch.
'Gaston'(Gary Caswell): First of all is an amusing character to begin with. With the Broadway version of the classic Disney movie. They have extended the character well into the stage. The actor portrayed him very well.
Now for the main leads: Belle(Linsey Maxson), was good. With a great singing voice and a sweet personality.
But without a doubt, the one character who stole the show, at least for me, was Beast played by Tyler Maxson.
Tyler Maxson is a superb actor with a strong singing voice that always manages to portray all the passion and pain his character is going through. I also had the chance to see his role as "Percy," in "The Scarlet Pimpernel" another strong role where he was amazing. And I am glad I got the chance to see him in this one.
Two: The costumes and Choreography.
Were imaginative and fun. The costumes were especially great in "Be Our Guest" with the dancing silverware and plates, with several bright colors that caught the eye. My personal favorite was the spatula. Another great number was "Gaston" in the bar where the whole ensemble broke into a dance involving the banging of cups together.
That they were so choreographed and together was amazing to watch.
Only one thing bothered me about the choreography, was when Geston ever beat up on 'Lefou'. After a while it became a little to slapstick and a little over done. Making it seem cheesy and out of place.
The wolves during the moments were the Beast fights them off to save Belle, or when they attacked Maurice was nifty. Frightening creatures with red eyes as they came down the stairs to attack their pray. With the darkened lights of the theater their eyes stood out the more giving a really nice effect. Which brings me to my next point.
Three: Lighting, Sets and Effects.
I happened to take Stage Craft while in High school and spent most of my time either on or behind stage. Helping build the sets and figure out lighting was something that I still enjoy. Seeing how Hale does their sets with such plays is always something that I look forward too. With it's theater in the round layout it's always interesting to see. For this production, they pulled it off beautifully. And used their space well.
The lighting was great and the effects they pulled off with the transformation at the end was very well done. The bright lights during 'Be Our Guest' made it even more enjoyable.
At the end the night was ended with a shower of streamers that shot across the room over the actors and the audience as they made their bows. All in all a very enjoyable experience and one I would gladly do again.
Other things that made the experience enjoyable: Being Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' naturally several parents brought their children. Little girls were dressed in princess dresses that made you smile, and during intermission, some of them were dancing in the middle of the floor on the painted ballroom scene that was there. It was all very sweet.
During 'Tale as old as Time' I got to watch one little girl dressed in a yellow type Belle dress. As she scooted forward in her seat as Belle came down dressed in her own. That moment watching them dance, made me feel like a little girl again and made me cry. I am not ashamed to admit it. It was the same feeling one gets when going to Disneyland.
All in all, It was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Ya Got to Love It!

This, is the latest google.com creation for their always changing logo. This is brilliant for a couple of reasons.
Number 1: It is a subtle tribute to some of the great comic characters of the time.
If you can't tell who they are, here the characters are as follows.
G: Batman
O: Fantastic four (I think)
O: Wonder Woman
G: Fantastic four again (I think)
L: The green flash
E: Part of the first o and the g.
Number 2: It is there ONLY because this week end happens to be Comic-Con in San Diego California. (Where one of my good friends happens to be right now. She goes every year.)
And Number 3: It proves once and for all the people working for google.com especially the people who create the logo are in fact, complete nerds. Which is brilliant.
Sorry, saw it, loved it, had to share it.
LOL, Brilliant!

'Star Trek' , 'Angels & Demons' & "Night at the Museum 2' ( A Review )
Lately I have been taking time to go see a lot of movies, mostly by myself because I can't find someone to go with me and also because ever since I went to go see 'Twilight' alone. I have decided that I really like seeing movies by myself every once in a while. You don't have to wait for anyone else to be ready, and I like to spend the time by myself. It's actually a really pleasurable experience. I still like seeing movies with other people though, because you can just sit there and laugh with them.
But Anyway:
I have seen three movies recently by myself in theaters. There was 'Star Trek', then 'Angel's & Demons' the sequel to 'The Divinci Code' and then just this last week-end there was 'Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian.'
'Star Trek' was a BLAST to see. I actually ended up seeing it two times in one day. Once because I went by myself in the morning. And then again at night with my family, but I didn't pay so why not. It was very well done. The acting was great and the special effects were fun and the story was good.
I grew up watching Star Trek: Next Generation with my father almost every night. So I have some very fond memories of watching it with my dad. So in a way I am a very mild Trekkie. And before the movie came out my dad had me watch some of the old movies. I loved those.
It was a good movie and I easily think all Trekkies and non-trekkies will find it a blast and a joy to watch. There were so many little things that just match up to the original series that it made me laugh. Great movie, go see it if you haven't.
'Angels & Demons' was not as spectacular as 'Star Trek' but they did a very good job of it. There was of course a couple things that I would have changed having read the book before the movie came out. But considering what they had to work with and a time limit they did a good job. If you have seen 'The Divinci Code' I liked 'Angels & Demons' better.
'Night at the Museum: 2' was in short okay. Not entirely spectacular but decent. It was as good as the first one in other words. Still has charmingly funny as the first but not awe inspiring. Amy Adams was cute in it as 'Amelia Earhart' so I liked it. If you liked the first one, you'll like the second.
The only thing that bothered me about the second movie was the singing cherubs that were totally the Jonus Brothers. Their gag was funny, but the fact that they were the Jonas Brothers was a little dumb frankly. I don't even know the Jonas brothers well as singers. But I was still knew it was them in a matter of seconds.
The next movie I'm trying to go see is Disney's 'Up' Still looking for someone to go with me. Not that I have money to go regardless. Aw well, its a work in progress.

I found a new Hobby!
I'm going to start making little music video's and such of family and what not. I was bored one day so I made this. It's fun and I enjoyed makeing it and really was pleased with the outcome of how it turned out. Sometimes I might do Slideshows, some times mixes of video and pictures, sometimes just video. It all deponds on what I have on my camera. Check it out.

Ren Faire & Moliere
Date: Sat, 21
In all it was a good day, but a LONG one. So putting aside the longitude, soreness and tiredness that I now feel, I had fun!
I spent the better part of the day at the 'Arizona Renaissance Festival' that they hold every year about this time. The gates open at Ten am, it takes about forty five minutes to get there, so I was up at eight to get ready before my friend who was driving came to pick me up.
Wearing;
Pants & belt - I would wear a skirt to be more authentic, but when you are dealing with a day of walking around, its more important to be comfortable and practical.
Shoes - As close to authentication as I can get, although not as comfortable as I would like for walking around all day, but their the only ones I have.
Two shirts - An under sage green shirt (Long Sleeve), and a white button top one over that. Not entirely ideal in the Arizona sun, but again, as close to garb as I can get.
Gauntlets - Which go on the arms over the undershirt, and require to be tight to stay in place, and actually restricts the arm movement's quite a bit.
Other Belt - Which had on it, a leather bag to carry an assortment of things, a metal tankard and a dagger near the back.
Also I was carrying around a cloak folded and tied with a strap to make carrying easier.
Also a hat that my friend provided to help with the sun. Which was too small but I made due.
The drive there was spent catching up as we don't hang out as much as I would like anymore. But we actually got there just as the gate was opening. Going through the gate, I have to get my dagger peace tied. Which means they tie a red ribbon around it and the sheath to keep it there, as a promise that I wont pull it out on anyone. In the process I get my butt checked out by two guys, it was funny.
The rest of the day is spent walking around looking at shops and bobbles, and watching the shows. Not actually having the money to buy anything kind of sucks, and the only thing I did buy was water so I didn't die. But you start making plans on what to buy next year. Part of the Dead Bob show was watched while my friend was getting her hair braided. We listened to Cast in Bronze from a distance while we ate lunch and got off our feet by laying down in a small patch of grass. And there were two shows of Tartantic, where my hands got red from clapping. The second one was better then the first, we're going to catch the Three o'clock showing more often.
We didn't see any of the joust this year, and we usually stay all day until the gates close at Six. But I had to be home early to get ready to go see a play with my dad and brother. And my friend had to be across town later. So we left at four and I was back home at about Five Thirty. The ride home was spent listening to music and talking about role playing (Yes I'm a nerd.)
When I got home, it was time for a quick, cold shower which felt good after the days heat. And then I got dressed for the play and got off my feet until it was time to go.
Tartuffe, by Moliere: Is about a French family, and the father takes in a 'humble' pauper by the name of Tartuffe. When he sees him praying at church. The father lavishes him with gifts and money, and is totally convinced that his is a humble and pious man. And the family has started to complain that he is foolish enough to praise Tartuffe.
As the play goes on, Tartuffe has convinced the father that to cancel the marriage of the daughter to her betrothed. And the father does and then insists that the daughter marries Tartuffe. Determined to stop this. The wife asks Tartuffe to come talk to her.
When he first came out on stage, you could literally hear everyone in the audience go 'Ew'. He's dressed from head to toe in complete black, wearing a crucifix. With long greasy black hair, the whites pale face and then his feet were bare but covered in dirt and just gross. He even looked sleazy.
But anyway, coming in to talk to the wife you realize there are different reasons that he's all to happy to talk to her alone. And he starts trying to convince her to have an affair with him. After all 'a sin is no sin, when it's a sin done in secret'. Seriously just Ew.
I won't go into the whole play, but it was very funny, and very well done by the Southwest Shakespearian Company. Their characters were great, even though Tartuffe made you cringe, but he's supposed to. It was a great day and a great week-end. I really had fun.

Abbreviated: Joys of Christmas.
I know I said that there would be a post about my week/month with my family over Christmas vacation.
But now it's to far away and I've been sick with this cough that won't go away and now I'm not in the mood. But Christmas was fun, crowded and loud. But fun.
I got a lot of art stuff, a DVD "Labyrinth" Awsome. I got sick and yeah. Abbreviated Joys of Christmas.
I get the house to myself again, a joy I'm always thankful for. I get my room another blessing. And the quite, except for Fridays when my brother doesn't have school and I have to share the house. Which is depressing.
I don't have much to write about this time around so Later.

Birthday Bash: 21 Style!
Date: December, 6th, 2008
So my birthday was this month, it's just that I've been so busy that I really haven't had the time to blog about it yet.
But so the night before I spent the night at a dinner to raise money for the Anasazi Foundation. I didn't get home tell about 11:30 at night. So safe to say that I was rather tired. I had to sleep out in the front room because my family was in town and my room was being used. My family all stayed up and talked and I was crabby. They stayed up tell after midnight. So technically it was my birthday. And I snapped at them all to shut up so that I could go to sleep. My family being the hams they are, all came over and sang happy birthday to me in the middle of the night. But because I was tired, I wasn't ammused. Looking back I realize how funny it was.
So I woke up and had a fairly nice day. I didn't have to do anything but relax and sit around. My family made jokes about really being considered an adult now. And told me not to get sloshed. I went shopping with my mom and got a new comforter set for my birthday. We had pizza for dinner.
But that night I went to a concert that the Anasazi Foundation was holding to raise money like the dinner before. First of all the Anasazi Foundation is a wilderness program used to help families with trouble teens and young adults. For more information go to Anasazi.org.
So but the concert was so much fun. That was technically my first concert and it was Gin Blossoms. So much fun, I jumped, I yelled, I sang along. I ran into three friends who I haven't seen since High School. It was great.
I didn't get home tell about three or three thirty.
But when I got home we had cheesecake and ice cream. And then I climbed into bed happy. A few days later my sister and brother in law got me a six pack of cream soda. Hardy har har, they think they are so funny. But it was really cool.
Now I have a cousin who had a birthday twenty days after mine and I called her to wish her a happy birthday. I asked her if she felt any different now that she was twenty one. She told me no.
Now I did and do fill different. Maybe it has something to do that I have several brothers and sisters who helped make it a big deal so I feel different. She's the oldest in her family.
But after my birthday I felt different. I feel more determined to get things together like getting my GED, getting a job and doing something that I wanted to do like travel. Help out more around the house, and I feel older and more responsible. Somehow my goals feel more important, and I want to get them achieved.
It is a really powerful feeling now with the new year coming on. Everything just feels good and right. Everything is right were it needs to be right now.

Twilight: The Movie ( A Review)
DATE: NOVEMBER, 21, 2008
OBJECTIVE: TO SEE "TWILIGHT" THE MOVIE.
TIME OF SHOWING: I DON'T REMEMBER.
First I need to backtrack a bit to the night before. About 5:30, my sister calls me on my cell phone to see if I was in line for the midnight showing. I quickly told her "I'm not that insane."
I wanted to see the movie, but I wasn't crazy enough to brave the crowds of the overly happy preppy girls who would be in line and screaming Edwards name during the movie. Which I know happened from hearing stories from other people who actually went to the midnight showing.
But I started calling around trying to find someone to go with me to the movie on opening day. Well, I couldn't find anyone to go. My friend didn't want to see it period. My sister didn't like the book so she didn't want to go see it anyway. Although I asked her just for the heck of it. My brother was willing to go see it with me if I waited until the following monday. He didn't want to, but he was willing to because he's the best.
But anyway, my sister felt bad that I couldn't find someone to go with, and both she and my brother said that I shouldn't have to go alone. But I didn't want to make them go if they didn't want to.
So, I ended up going by myself. Which I actually enjoyed. I'm going to go see movies by myself more often. It was pleasant sitting there by myself.
So, anyhoo.
ONTO THE ACTUAL REVIEW:
First of all, I went with EXTREMELY LOW expectations. It's a movie based off a fluff book. I knew it wasn't going to be fantastic. But considering what they had to work with I thought they pulled it off fairly well.
Bella: Did and didn't work for me. First of all she came off as slightly cold in the movie. At least in the book you have her internal thoughts and you know she really cares. In the movie she comes off slightly indifferent to everything everyone does for her as if she doesn't care.
Edward: Came off slightly whinny. His half smile worked, and the first scene where you see him is a nice touch. So he was ok. The sparkling in the sunlight made me laugh. It just did not work for me. It looked a little cartoonish and dumb. I caught myself snickering.
Billy: Was great, very perfect for his role.
Jacob: Was ok as well. He has a cute smile. Which I also found amusing that Jacob had a more dazzaling smile then Edward.
Charlie: Was Good. All this scenes where he's being protective of Bella are great and they made me laugh.
Victoria: Was Good. She was very scary especially the end scene where she walks away from the prom.
James and Laurent: Did NOT work for me. I wasn't convinced with either one.
Bella's Friends: Were all amusing. I loved them all. Great stuff.
The Cullens: I loved them all. Alice might take time to grow on me, but I loved the others. Rosalie was good, so was Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme. Jasper might have to grow on me too.
But I enjoyed the movie, the scenery was beautiful. The soundtrack was neat and I'll want to own it for a few songs on there.
I'm excited for 'NEW MOON' next, and I can't wait to see what they do under a new director.
The movie was ok, it's a good fluff movie as it was a good fluff book. But there are things they could have done better. Like the sparkling in the sunlight and some of the portrays of the characters. Like Bella and showing more of her reactions to things like in the book. But other then that I liked the movie.
OI, STEPHENIE! Let's Turn "THE HOST" into a movie Next!

Bring On The Holidays!
As most of you know, Thanksgiving is this Thursday. Which of course means family, food and pie.
Halloween of course was in October and Christmas is just around the corner following after my birthday next week. Where I will have a detailed post of my entire birthday experiance as I turn 21.
But anyway, Thanksgiving.
If you haven't notice I have christmas music playing on my blog. Despite what my other siblings say on the matter. Christmas music is completely viable November 1st. That's when you are allowed to start listening to it, no sooner, give Halloween it's moment to breath.
So I start planning for Christmas in November. There are no Thanksgiving songs or music so Christmas music becomes part of the package now. (Although I was out voted on putting up Christmas decorations early). I can understand that if we still live in a state that actually had an Autumn. But we don't, we live in Arizona. There are only four seasons here. Chilly, slightly colder, hot, and then the inferno.
We don't get Autumn or winter. So anything that helps me get into the Christmas spirit because of lack of snow I'm going to take. And Music is the only way that I can do that. So I'm going to do that.
On a better note I get to decorate for Christmas this week-end after Thanksgiving, and tomorrow I get to spend all day helping my mom cook. YAY! Also I'll be watching 'A Christmas Story' it's a tradition my brother started so I watch it every year on Thanksgiving. OH, and there is the Thanksgiving day parade. We tend to watch only parts of it. But it's part of the package.
The holidays are great, I'm excited and the family is in town. The next few weeks leading up to Christmas are going to be fun. BOO-YEAH!

Oktoberfest (Not to be confused with the actual festival.)
October was a lot of fun this year. Not only does it have Halloween and herolds in the holiday season. But I also got to go hang out in California for about a week and hang out with my sister and my nephews and niece. It's always fun to see them. The weather is cooler there, and we went and did some pretty fun things. We went to a pumpkin patch and got pumpkins with my niece.
But after spending a week with them it was time to return home. After which I spent the reminder of my month getting ready for Halloween and the rest of the holidays.
I went and got a pumpkin, the only person to carve one at home this year. AFter I carved mine my mom wanted to carve more. But I wasn't willing to carve another one like she wanted to. But while I was carving my pumpkin I watched 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. Well, listened to, would be more accurate. You can't really watch a movie when you are focused on carving a pumpkin.
So on Halloween I was a fairy, bright fairy wings, curly hair and glitter. Which of course got glitter everywhere. I spent the next day cleaning the house and getting rid of all the glitter. SO much glitter!
But Halloween was fun. We passed out Halloween candy to all the trick o treaters. So cute when they are little! And I hung out and played games with my friends and ate candy. And we watched scary movies until after midnight as a family. It was fun.
I love the holidays.

Turning Around.
Things are finally falling into place for me. Or at least looking up for now I am content with where my life is going.
We've moved into a house my sister owns. It's still in a work in progress. In other words we've moved into it but the repairs we were doing on it are still in transition mode. It's slowly coming together. At least my room is done with the exception of the closet base boards and the lack of blinds and a bedroom door. The sheet is just not cutting it. I should really see about getting my door.
I love my room, it's entirely green with wood floors. A little crowded because my last room was so much bigger. But it's amazing how the room can have an entirely different feel when there is carpet or wood floors. I love the feel the room gets with wood floors. Their not real wood but close enough.
I'm heading to California at the end of the week. To spend about a week or so with my sister and see her kids. Something I'm really excited for. I miss my neices and nephews. My nephew has just turned ten, the kids a freakn genious and he's ten. I'm only ten years older then him. It's a little strange but I love the kid to death. Not to mention going to California for the week gets me out of the house for a while and out of the Arizona weather into something that's more natural for this time of year.
The holidays are just around the corner, always something to make me cheer. I'm really excited to decorate the house for the holidays. I'm in charge of it because my sisters have all moved out. Ha ha! I'm working on getting my cousin down for thanksgiving so I can see her again before she leaves on her mission. She's the only cousin I have who is really close to my age. So I want to see her again before she leaves and I can't see her for a year and a half. So we are collaberating to get her down here for thanksgiving. (Can she come down with you Kat?)
I'm getting along really well with my family, still need that bedroom door though sometimes. I can't wait to see them all for the holidays.
I'm still enjoying my writing class. I need to work on homework and send my assingment in before I leave.
Several of my favorite t.v series have started back up. I pretty much have a show every day of the week that I just have to watch. Except Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Heroes
House
Pushing Daisies - which starts back up tonight. So excited
Supernatural
Also:
The office
Ghost Hunters
- Both I watch online because Ghost Hunters comes on Sci-fi and I don't have cable at my house. And the office because it comes on the same time as Supernatural so I just watch it online the day after.
Those are pretty much my line up for the week. And to think I made fun of a friend for having a week line up.
